Allow His Most Holy Name to Bring Glory

Music.
I can’t imagine my life without it.
There are songs and types of music that bring memories of my childhood.
80’s music is one of my favorites because it’s the music of high school for me.
Songs from the 90’s and early 2000’s bring great memories of youth ministry retreats, youth nights and youth summer mission trips as I worked as a Youth Minister.
There is something about music that can bring such joy, bring memories to our minds, and stir the soul.
This coming Sunday is Palm Sunday.
Holy Week will begin.
Saint Paul reminds us of how awesome and holy Jesus is because of all He did for us in the last verses of the Second Reading.
Because of this, God greatly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11
This reminded me of one of my favorite songs and I wanted to share it with you

Maybe this song will stir your soul like it does mine.
This last week of Lent, let’s start each day by saying the name Jesus right when we wake up and saying the name Jesus as we lay down to go to sleep each night.
Let’s allow His most holy name to bring God’s glory to us.
Continued Lent blessings!
