Do we really know how much God loves us?

He created us.

He sent His own Son to tell us about how much He loves us.

God sacrificed His own Son for each of us.

He gave us the Holy Spirit.

Do we really know how much God loves us?

To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit.

1 Corinthians 12:7

This coming Sunday we celebrate Pentecost.

The Holy Spirit came upon the disciples. They were filled with courage to go out and tell people about Jesus.

When people heard the disciples, it didn’t matter that they spoke different languages, because of the Holy Spirit, all could hear them in their own language.

Through our Baptism, God has given us the Holy Spirit.

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, we are sealed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

God does really love each of us.

The Holy Spirit is present in every part of our day, waiting for us to ask….

Come Holy Spirit, guide me.

Come Holy Spirit, give me the courage I need.

Come Holy Spirit, care for my children.

Come Holy Spirit, help me to live as a disciple of Jesus.

Come Holy Spirit, take my worries and bring me peace.

Come Holy Spirit, help me to really know God’s love for me.

Come Holy Spirit!
