CATECHETICAL SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2025

Fifty.

That’s the number of people who are volunteering as Catechists and helpers in Elementary and Adult Faith Formation right now.

They pray for you.

They work to prepare their sessions with your family.

They come, excited to support you in growing in your relationship with Jesus and His Church as they lead your sessions.

None of them have children in Faith Formation. They want to serve as disciples of Jesus, and this is how they are doing it…supporting families in growing in faith.

What a blessing they are!

Beloved: First of all, I ask that supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be offered for everyone, for kings and for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:1-2

This greeting from Saint Paul in this coming Sunday’s Second Reading is my prayer for those 50 people who are caring for so many in Faith Formation.

This Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Mass, all our Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Catechists and volunteers will be commissioned and blessed.

Come, lift our Catechists and volunteers in prayer and celebrate them and all they do for you and your family!
