What an amazing time of meeting so many of you these past few weeks! It’s registration time for Elementary Faith Formation and Youth Ministry. We are excited to support you in enabling your children to grow in faith.
Yesterday families beginning First Reconciliation, Year 1 were here for a Family Retreat – it was great! Your family’s images of God inspired me.
This Sunday is Confirmation, Year 1 Family’s Welcome & Dinner.
Sunday the 25th is the First Communion, Year 2 Family Retreat and Confirmation, Year 2 Family’s Welcome & Dinner.
I enjoy meeting you and hope to get to know you a bit this season.
I am always in awe of moms, dads, and grandparents and all you do out of love for your children. The saying, “Labor of love” is true – you all give so much and work hard in the care of your family.
I keep you in my prayers.
The first sentence in this coming Sunday’s second reading made me think of all of you:
Beloved: First of all, I ask that supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be offered for everyone, for kings, queens and for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
You all are the authority over your family. Through your Baptism, you are kings and queens. May you have moments of quiet and tranquility. May God fill you with His grace as you enable your children to grow in their faith and devote yourselves to His care.
